Bible verses on Peace

We live in uncertain times, a time where no one has the answer, not even the experts. A time where worry and anxiety seem to be the natural resolve, but is this God's will for  his children? Definetly not! The Bible is full of verses that promises peace for God's children, for anyone who has placed their trust and confidence in God, God has promised peace in the face of problems. I have put up here Bible verses on peace that you can keep your heart on in this season and always, and I hope you find this helpful.

This verse tells us that one of the Messiah's names is Prince of Peace. He is our Lord of Peace, the initiator and sustainer of our peace, so we can be rest assured of peace when we are in him.

God has promised us in his word that He (God) will keep everyone who trust in him in perfect peace. Everyone who makes Jesus his Lord, will enjoy the peace of the Lord.

Through Christ, God has preached peace to us who were afar ( non Jewish), and he has promised to heal us of our transgressions and heartache. We can be sure that He who preached peace to us is able to keep that peace.

Peace is a gift from God. Jesus has given his disciples peace not in the way of the world, but perfect peace at all times. It is not the same peace the world offers, but perfect peace. Irrespective of what is happening around, He has promised us peace, and that is what you should expect.

The Lord never promised us a life of no trials, but he promised us victory and his peace in every situation.
We can be sure of peace in the Lord Jesus because He has overcome the world. He overcame the world for us so that we can overcome.

Those who seek God's will are promised the covenant of peace.  You want to enjoy God's peace? Seek his will.

Jesus has called us to cast our cares on him, and when we do we enjoy peace. Even today, you  an still cast your burdens and worries on him, trust him to look after you in trying times, and you will enjoy his peace.

The Bible admonish us not be anxious, but to pray in all things, at all times with gratitude. When we make our desires known to God, we can be sure of his peace that is beyond our reasoning. That us what the Bible calls Perfect Peace.

My prayer is that you will enjoy God's peace in this trying time, even as Paul prayed for the church here. Don't be afraid, the Lord is with you, and because of his presence, you can be sure of his peace.

What more? Choose your thoughts, choose your words, let your thoughts be focused on God's word and his promise of peace, let the Holy Spirit control your thoughts and you will enjoy God's Peace.

Triumphant One

One who triumph is a Victor or a Conquest, a Conqueror. this connotes the idea of one who has gone into battle and finished on a victorious note. He did not just win, but has also gathered spoil, therefore, he is a notable success. Isn't it interesting that the Scriptures calls us conquerors. According to Romans 8vs37, Apostle Paul wrote by the Holy Ghost that we (who have believed in God by the sacrifice of Jesus) are more than conquerors through Christ(the Anointed one and His Anointing) who has loved us. As long as we remain in Christ, all battles are as good as won, for by his death, burial& Resurrection, he spoiled he spoiled principalities and power, and made a public show of them"(Colossians 2 vs 15). By his sacrifice, we are guarranted victory in All things.

Favour as a Shield

Psalms 5:12, says the Lord will surround the righteous with favour as with a shield. Who doesn't like to be favoured? Surely I want to be favoured,  and I guess you are just like me.  When I first read this scripture, what came to mind was how can I be qualified for this favour? How can I become righteous? My human nature told me I had to be perfect, I thought of all the dos and donts I have learnt growing up, but none of this made me righteous.  But the Holy Spirit reminded me of 2Corinthians 5:21, which says God made him (Christ) who knew no sin, to be sin on our behalf, so that we (you and I) may become the righteousness of God. Really? Absolutely Yes! Jesus became sin so that I can be made God's righteousness.  If I have been made God's righteousness by his death and resurrection, it will require his death and resurrection to be undone before I can loose my righteousness then. Praise God that his work can never be undone. By that one sacrifice of Jesus,

Why does He Speak?

Hello welcome to Triumphant in Christ and thank you for stopping by. My desire is that every post you read here will impart truth on your heart and stir up faith within you for more of God. I will love to read from you too, so please leave a comment after reading. Let's hit the road on this...... Have you ever been faced with situations beyond you just after a promise from God? And maybe you have asked "why does the Lord even speak? " why does he reveal things in visions? Some times, we receive word of prophecy from God, and just after the word, something happens and it looks like what is happening is contrary to what the Lord has said. When the Lord speaks, it is not for the feelings,  rather it is for the happenings, the things that will happen between the time he spoke and the time of fulfillment. When the Lord speaks or reveal things, it is because he wants us to be able to stand and not lose trust in him when life happens. “These things I have spoken to y
